The Noisy Intermission - Michael Valenti, composer/original poem by Joan Bergman/adaptation by Ron Spivak
Narrator: Ron Spivak
The Noisy Intermission tells the story of an orchestra rehearsing for an upcoming concert. When the musicians leave for a break, the instruments come to life, introducing us to some fascinating characters . . . the romantic violin, the snooty oboe, the gossipy clarinet, the indecisive trombone, the nervous harp, and many others. Thir argument - and, ultimately, a stern repreimand from the baton - leads them to learn the value of cooperation.
11-year-old violinist Alyssa Stremcha performs a movement of Bach's Violin Concerto in A Minor with the Symphony.
